Paul Winter - This Glorious Earth

Paul Winter celebrates This Glorious Earth with a duo concert performance featuring his soprano sax along with piano accompaniment by Henrique Eisenmann and the voices of Whale, Wolf, and Wood Thrush, and other members of what he calls “the greater symphony of the Earth.”

This concert is presented alongside Marjorie Ryerson's Water Music exhibition in Chandler Gallery. Winter wrote the introduction to the book, and shares Ryerson's mission of celebrating and preserving Earth and its beauty.

An excerpt from the introduction: "In the past, we revered the magical properties of water. This strange substance, self-transforming and trans-formative, was understood to contain as well as to enable life.
